Invitations & RSVPs

Not every guest is invited to everything

The rules are enforced on our servers, not in the form: an RSVP for an occasion a household wasn't invited to, or for someone else's household, is rejected outright.

Household by occasion

Only the occasions they were actually invited to.

Choose which households are invited to which occasions. A household's page and RSVP form show only the occasions they were actually invited to.

Every person answers for themselves, per occasion — “Mom and Dad to the ceremony, the whole family to the party” without a phone call.

Occasion details on the guest site

Local time, everywhere

As many occasions as the celebration needs — ceremony, luncheon, party, brunch — each with its own venue, address, time and timezone. Guests always see the occasion's local time on the site, in the confirmation and in the calendar file.

Calendar links include exactly the occasions they're attending in Google, Outlook and .ics, at the correct local time.

Each yes can carry the details

With a yes: request a bus seat, add a dietary note, say who should sit with the adults. The household can add a song request, a note, and opt in to updates.

Per-occasion answers

Dashboard per occasion: invited, yes, no, no-response and bus requests, updating as answers land.

Change, audit, undo

Change any person's answer for any occasion. Every change is audited with one-step undo.

Choose which households are invited to which occasions; every person answers for themselves, per occasion.
